If your idea of a great night out involves synths, big hair and the crackle of a needle hitting the record, Beachaven in Xemxija has two dates for you this winter. DJ Alex Grech brings back two of his 80s nights, and both are played 100% on vinyl, straight from turntables.
NEURO: Saturday 28 November
NEURO is the night for 80s electro, New Romantic, synth pop and alternative sounds. Alex Grech is joined on the decks by DJ Mozzer (Tonio Pace), digging into a huge collection of singles and 12-inch records. Think Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, Ultravox, The Human League and Yazoo, plus plenty more from the decade’s electro legends.
- When: Saturday 28 November 2026, 21:00 to 03:00
- Tickets: €10
Reflex 80’s Party: Saturday 12 December
Two weeks later, the Reflex 80’s Party switches to the decade’s biggest dance hits, again played only on turntables by Alex Grech. It’s a pre-Christmas night out in what the organisers call one of Malta’s original 80s clubs.
- When: Saturday 12 December 2026, from 21:00
- Tickets: €10
Prices exclude booking fee.
