The BOV Youth League A U21 has a full Monday night programme on 12 October 2026: five matches, all kicking off at 20:30, spread across five grounds in Malta. It is the top section of the Malta FA’s youth league, and the place to watch the players pushing for a first-team spot at their clubs.

Fixtures and venues

All five games start at the same time, so pick one ground for the night. Each match is listed as running until about 22:15.

How Section A works

The BOV Youth League is split into four sections, and Section A is the top one. Its twelve teams are Birkirkara, Floriana, Hibernians, Melita, Mġarr United, Mosta, Naxxar Lions, Pietà Hotspurs, Sliema Wanderers, St. Andrews, Swieqi United and Valletta.

The season started on 31 August. Every team plays the others once, then the section splits into a Top 6 and a Bottom 6, and each group plays another two rounds to decide the final placings.

Valletta are the reigning champions, having won the Section A title in April 2026.

Why go

Youth league football is cheap, close up and often more open than the senior game. It is a good chance to see the young players coming through at your club before they make the step up to senior football. It is also an easy evening out for families and friends of the players.

Tickets

Tickets for every match are €5, with no booking fee. They are sold by side, so choose the home or away section for the team you support:
