What is Chasing Sunsets?

Chasing Sunsets is a travelling party that moves between some of Malta’s most striking outdoor locations. The idea is simple: great scenery, carefully selected electronic music, and the moment when day turns into night. As the sun disappears beyond the horizon, the music takes over and the evening builds from there.

Starting at 14:00 gives you a full afternoon in the sun before the main event, the sunset itself, with the party carrying on into the night until 00:00.

Why Wied iż-Żurrieq

Wied iż-Żurrieq is a small inlet on Malta’s southern coast, best known as the starting point for boat trips to the Blue Grotto. The organisers picked it for its dramatic cliffs and crystal-blue Mediterranean water, which make a natural backdrop for watching the sun go down over the sea.

Late October is a good time for it too: the summer heat has eased, but the evenings are still mild enough to stay outdoors after dark.
