Halloween weekend brings five VBET Malta Premier League matches to Eventworks, on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026. The big one is Floriana v Valletta on Sunday afternoon at the Tony Bezzina Stadium in Paola: a derby between two close neighbours, with Floriana sitting just outside Valletta’s city walls.

Fixtures and kick-off times

Games to watch

Floriana v Valletta is the derby of the weekend, with reigning champions Floriana at home to their neighbours from the capital. Tickets for this game are not on public sale yet: the event page shows Tickets Out Soon, so check back before Sunday.

On Saturday evening, Sliema Wanderers v Ħamrun Spartans kicks off under the lights at Ta’ Qali at 19:00, at the same time as Balzan v Hibernians in Paola. Earlier in the afternoon, Birkirkara host Birżebbuġa St Peter’s and Żabbar St Patrick take on Mosta, both at 16:30.

Saturday is also Halloween, so an afternoon kick-off still leaves plenty of time for a night out. Our Halloween in Malta 2026 guide has the parties and events.
