The Need

Kuinet and the surrounding parishes in Uasin Gishu County are home to hundreds of young children with little to no access to adequate educational infrastructure. Existing facilities in the area are overcrowded, poorly resourced, or simply too far for young children to reach safely. Without a proper school, many children face interrupted schooling, unsafe learning environments, or no formal education at all, a gap that deepens cycles of poverty in communities that already have limited access to basic services.

Where We Are

Construction on Phase 1 has begun in July 2026 and is expected to be completed by 20 November 2026. The school is scheduled to be formally inaugurated in January SIGMA FOUNDATION.

The cost will amount to KES 8,079,940 (approx. €54,830), covering substructure, superstructure frame, roofing, doors and windows, finishes, and provisional/prime cost sums (electrical, plumbing, preliminaries, landscaping, contingencies, and part of the perimeter wall).

Every element of this project - from the materials used to the funds disbursed, is being carried out with careful oversight, transparent reporting, and a genuine partnership with the local community it is built to serve.

- Tickets purchased are not refundable under any circumstance unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser.
