TECHXPO, Malta’s national technology expo, returns to the MFCC in Ta’ Qali from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 November 2026. Entry is free on all three days, but you need a ticket.

What is TECHXPO?

First held in 2023, TECHXPO is a government-organised expo that showcases Malta’s work in emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, digital transformation and local tech solutions. It brings together industry leaders, government entities, technology professionals, entrepreneurs and start-ups. This year’s theme is Connecting Innovation. Shaping Tomorrow.

The organisers list almost 80 participating companies and organisations on the exhibition floor, from government agencies to tech firms and start-ups.

The conference

Alongside the exhibition, a two-day conference runs on Thursday and Friday from 09:00 to about 14:10. Day one covers Malta’s AI future, AI strategy, productivity and digital inclusion, with a talk on semiconductors and a fireside chat with Zoom’s chief technology officer. Day two turns to start-up funding, intellectual property, regulation and AI ethics, plus sessions on AI in government and digital health.

  • Friday 27 November: 08:30 to 14:00 (business visitors, B2B ticket)
